Worked on the Automattic/pocket-casts-android repository, focusing on improving the user interface by addressing a specific usability issue in the FolderChooserPage. Using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, implemented a targeted layout adjustment to prevent the 'Done' button from overlapping with navigation bars, thereby enhancing accessibility and ensuring accurate tap interactions across devices and screen sizes. The solution was designed to minimize impact on existing functionality, with a clear and traceable commit history for maintainability. This work reduced potential user confusion and support requests by ensuring navigation elements remained unobstructed, reflecting a careful and detail-oriented approach to Android development and UI refinement.
