Developed per-client information and capabilities management for the StreamableHTTP session in the grafana/mcp-go repository, focusing on backend development using Go. The work introduced new fields and methods to support client-specific data handling, enabling extensibility and configurability in stateful mode. By implementing the SessionWithClientInfo interface and associated getter and setter methods, the solution standardized per-client session extensions and allowed for capability checking tailored to individual clients. This feature laid the foundation for multi-tenant configurations and per-client feature toggles, enhancing the reliability and observability of client-specific state management within the StreamableHTTP transport layer. No bugs were addressed.
