Annika Joubert developed a new Navigation Bar Component for the UoaWDCC/medrevue frontend, focusing on improving navigation consistency and user experience. Using React, TypeScript, and CSS, she engineered a route-aware navigation system that adapts its styling contextually, particularly highlighting the ticket-purchasing flow on the Buy Tickets page. The component provides seamless access to core sections such as Home, Show, Gallery, About, and Buy Tickets, ensuring users can easily navigate between them. While the work addressed a single feature over a one-month period, it demonstrated a clear understanding of frontend architecture and user-centric design without involving bug fixes.
