Contributed to the open-telemetry/opentelemetry.io repository by expanding the OpenTelemetry Collector ecosystem, specifically adding KloudMate’s distribution to the distributions catalog. This work involved updating the distributions.yaml file using YAML and JSON, enhancing configuration management and deployment flexibility for operators and developers. The addition improved user onboarding by increasing the discoverability of available distributions, supporting a broader range of deployment scenarios. Collaborated within a multi-contributor open source environment, ensuring clean commit attribution and CI-friendly changes.
