Using Python, they updated unit and integration tests to mock scenarios where the nvidia-container-runtime binary is absent, ensuring the engine omits the NVIDIA runtime argument when appropriate. Their approach leveraged mocking and system integration testing to validate engine behavior under missing dependencies, reducing the risk of runtime misconfigurations. Although the work spanned one month and did not introduce new features, Ant’s targeted test improvements contributed to the overall robustness and maintainability of the container runtime codebase.
