Worked on the mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios repository to deliver an Accessibility Identifier Hygiene feature focused on improving UI test reliability and maintainability. The approach involved a targeted code refactor in Swift, systematically removing unused AccessibilityIdentifiers from the iOS codebase. This cleanup reduced test noise and brittleness, enabling faster and more reliable continuous integration feedback loops. By streamlining accessibility identifier usage, the changes lowered ongoing maintenance costs and made test authoring more straightforward. The work supported the FXIOS-15446 initiative and related issues, enhancing codebase hygiene and reducing regression risk for the iOS module, while leveraging skills in Swift and iOS development.
