Worked on the lsst/lsst-texmf repository to enhance author metadata quality and standardize contact information within the author database. Focused on author database management and data management using YAML, the work involved enriching metadata by adding a new author entry and linking an ORCID identifier to improve attribution and searchability. Addressed data consistency by cleaning up contact details, specifically removing institutional net addresses from email fields. The technical approach centered on commit-level updates to the authordb.yaml file, resulting in improved metadata discoverability and more reliable downstream analytics. No major bugs were reported or fixed, with efforts concentrated on data hygiene and standardization.
