In July 2025, Ant Lambe developed an automated issue triage and priority labeling workflow for the microsoft/vsmarketplace repository, focusing on streamlining issue management and optimizing team workload. Leveraging GitHub Actions, Shell, and YAML, Ant designed a system that automatically labels new issues and assigns priorities based on user reactions, integrating this with an updated resource management policy. This approach reduced manual triage effort and improved response times for high-priority issues by ensuring balanced distribution of triage tasks. The work demonstrated a thoughtful application of automation and CI/CD practices to address real-world bottlenecks in open-source project maintenance.
