Focused on aligning both the frontend and backend with standard TCP/IP port limits, the developer updated the maximum allowable port from 49151 to 65535, ensuring users could register services using any valid port. This change, implemented using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, reduced user errors and improved compliance with networking standards. The approach emphasized correctness and traceability, resulting in fewer support tickets, higher uptime, and smoother deployments, while preparing the codebase for more robust and incident-free releases.
