Worked on the containers/podman-compose repository to deliver two new features focused on improving flexibility and reliability for container orchestration workflows. Enhanced the include functionality to support both string and dictionary formats with path keys, simplifying multi-file compose merging and reducing manual complexity. Developed a new ls command for podman-compose, enabling users to list running projects and their paths directly from the command line. Expanded the test suite with integration tests covering multi-file includes and service management scenarios. Leveraged Python, YAML, and CI/CD practices throughout, emphasizing robust test automation and alignment with both Docker and Podman ecosystems for seamless developer experience.
