Antonin Polette enhanced the Checkmate Gauge component in the bluewave-labs/Checkmate repository by introducing support for two additional metrics, expanding the component’s ability to represent richer data in dashboard visualizations. Working primarily with React and JavaScript, Antonin updated the propTypes to accommodate the new metrics and ensured stable integration with the existing user interface. The implementation maintained backward compatibility and included thorough documentation, providing clear traceability from feature intent to code changes. While the work focused on a single feature over one month, it demonstrated careful attention to data accuracy and UI consistency in front end development practices.
