Worked on stabilizing YAML-based policy configuration workflows in the stackrox/stackrox repository, focusing on improving the user experience for file uploads in the Network Policy Simulator Side Panel. Addressed a validation issue where only .yaml files were accepted, causing valid .yml files to be incorrectly rejected. Implemented a front-end solution using TypeScript and JavaScript to extend the file upload validation logic, ensuring both .yaml and .yml extensions are now supported. This targeted bug fix enhanced the reliability of UI development processes and reduced friction for users managing network policy configurations, reflecting a detail-oriented approach to front-end development and validation.
