Developed an automated maintenance solution for the RedTeamSubnet/RedTeam repository, focusing on a Validator Auto-Updater to streamline validator reliability and reduce manual upkeep. Leveraging Python, Git, and system administration skills, designed and implemented the AutoUpdater class to monitor repository changes and trigger automatic validator restarts when updates are detected. This approach integrated seamlessly into the existing validator script, enabling hands-off operation and minimizing downtime. The auto-update mechanism was built with extensibility in mind, allowing for future enhancements such as broader component monitoring and centralized update policies, ultimately supporting smoother deployments and maintaining validators on the latest, most secure codebase.
