During May 2025, Alex worked on the rdkcentral/OneWifi repository, focusing on maintaining Wi-Fi radio stability across embedded systems. He reverted a previous change to the 2GHz BE operating standard, restoring the original Wi-Fi radio configuration to ensure compatibility with existing devices and product lines. By removing platform checks for IEEE80211BE and related product requirements, Alex prevented potential regressions and maintained backward compatibility. His work, implemented in C and leveraging his expertise in embedded systems and Wi-Fi configuration, prioritized stable operation and predictable behavior in the field.
