Month 2025-01 highlights: Delivered a set of CLI, workspace, and pipeline enhancements for CodeGate, reinforced data integrity and security, and improved developer experience and deployment reliability. Key outcomes include a CLI-driven codegate-version/workspace flow with user-defined system prompts; initial Workspaces and Pipeline migrations with sequential file naming; normalization of workspace names and system prompts; and comprehensive codebase maintenance (dependency pinning, build-args, Alembic cleanup). Added token usage tracking, CLI caching, and endpoint cleanup to boost observability and performance. Also implemented LM Studio provider and mux endpoint routing to broaden integration options.

Delivered an end-to-end File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) pipeline and secret detection with centralized logic in the base provider, along with tests and documentation updates. Reworked provider routing and imports for stability and better integration by switching to URL-based routing and absolute imports. Strengthened observability through structured logging, JSON formatting, and removal of debugging artifacts, improving incident response and CI reliability. Added repository hygiene improvements with Git LFS attributes. These efforts reduced secret leakage risk, improved traffic routing reliability, and enhanced developer productivity through clearer telemetry and stable CI.
