During April 2026, Ziqi Qiu focused on improving the Kanban group sorting logic in the toeverything/AFFiNE repository. He addressed a persistent issue by restoring manual row and card sorting for grouped Kanban data, ensuring consistent ordering across all views. Using TypeScript and front end development skills, he unified the internal grouping and sorting logic, corrected group and board rearrangement behavior, and maintained consistency between the user interface settings and persisted group properties. Ziqi also added targeted tests to verify that per-group card order is preserved when moving cards between groups, demonstrating careful attention to data integrity and user experience.
