In May 2025, April Huang enhanced the ucsdds3/main-site repository by overhauling the partner management feature and refining the gallery’s user experience. She removed legacy partner management functionality, streamlining partner exposure and reducing site maintenance, while updating the display to showcase new partner logos. For the gallery, April improved UI/UX by removing redundant section titles and integrating an image preloading hook, resulting in faster, smoother navigation across devices. Her work leveraged React and TypeScript, with a focus on front-end development and asset management. The changes addressed layout inconsistencies and improved perceived performance, demonstrating thoughtful, targeted engineering within a focused project scope.
