In May 2025, April Huang enhanced the ucsdds3/main-site repository by overhauling the partner management feature and improving gallery UI/UX. She removed legacy partner management functionality, streamlining partner exposure and reducing site maintenance, while updating the display to showcase new partner logos. For the gallery, April integrated an image preloading hook and removed redundant section titles, resulting in faster loading and a more intuitive user experience. Her work leveraged React, TypeScript, and front-end asset management skills, focusing on maintainability and performance. The changes addressed layout inconsistencies and improved gallery navigation, reflecting a targeted, well-scoped approach to feature development.
