Worked on stability and correctness improvements for the facebookincubator/nimble repository, focusing on the DeduplicatedColumnStatistics merge paths. Addressed a bug where uninitialized member variables could lead to incorrect statistics after merge operations, which previously caused inconsistencies in downstream analytics. The solution involved identifying and initializing the affected variables, updating related tests, and validating the fix through internal review processes. Utilized C++ for both debugging and software development tasks, ensuring that the statistics-driven logic remained reliable after merges. This work enhanced the integrity of deduplicated statistics, contributing to more accurate analytics and improved reliability for users of the Nimble project.
