Developed and delivered a feature-based test selection filtering capability for the curl/curl repository, enabling users to run or exclude tests by specifying features with a 'feat:' prefix. This enhancement was implemented within the runtests workflow using Perl scripting, focusing on improving test automation and streamlining the CI/CD process. By introducing this targeted filtering, the work allowed for more precise test coverage and faster feedback cycles, supporting feature-driven development practices. The approach demonstrated proficiency in software testing and repository automation, resulting in clearer test targeting and more efficient continuous integration workflows. No major bugs were addressed during this period.
