In March 2025, Aquila Macedo developed and delivered a feature-based test selection filtering system for the curl/curl repository. This enhancement allowed users to run or exclude tests by specifying features with a 'feat:' prefix, streamlining the test selection process within the runtests workflow. Aquila implemented this solution using Perl scripting, focusing on test automation and CI/CD workflow customization to improve test targeting and feedback cycles. The work demonstrated a clear understanding of feature-driven development and repository automation, resulting in more efficient and targeted test coverage. No bugs were fixed during this period, reflecting a focused, single-feature engineering effort.
