During January 2026, Aqwyh developed an enhanced Fiber Plugin System for the SpinalHDL/SpinalHDL repository, focusing on improving plugin behavior control and state management. By introducing new patch and check methods to the FiberPlugin, Aqwyh enabled safer and more configurable plugin lifecycles, addressing the need for greater runtime reliability and future extensibility. The work was implemented and thoroughly documented in Scala, drawing on expertise in plugin development and software architecture. Although the month’s efforts centered on feature delivery rather than bug fixes, the depth of the changes laid a solid foundation for more robust and flexible plugin management going forward.
