Worked on enhancing user documentation for the open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector project, focusing on the ExporterHelper module’s batching configuration. Improved guidance clarified the relationship between batch min_size and sending_queue queue_size, addressing common sources of misconfiguration and helping users set up batching behavior more accurately. The contribution consisted of a documentation-only update, written in Markdown, with an emphasis on clear technical communication and onboarding efficiency. No functional code changes were introduced, but the work aimed to enable safer deployments and faster troubleshooting for users. Demonstrated skills in technical writing and documentation, supporting the project’s usability and maintainability for the OpenTelemetry community.
