Worked on the AstroNvim/astrocommunity repository to enhance VSCode integration by adding nvim-surround support to the plugin configuration recipes. Focused on configuration management and plugin management, the work involved updating YAML-based configuration files to enable surround-related functionality out of the box for users. Leveraged Lua and version control best practices to ensure traceability and maintainability of the changes. This feature reduced the need for manual setup when configuring surround editing in VSCode, improving consistency across different environments. The contribution demonstrated end-to-end feature delivery within the AstroNvim ecosystem, with an emphasis on seamless editor integration and user experience.
