Arda Kiray developed a robust script resource path resolution mechanism for the heremaps/xyz-hub repository, focusing on the StepTestBase class to improve test database configuration across different environments. By leveraging Java and applying backend development and database management skills, Arda addressed the challenge of environment-specific resource lookup failures that often caused CI instability. The new approach ensures deterministic and reliable resource resolution, which reduces test setup time and minimizes failures due to missing or incorrect resource paths. This work enhanced the reliability of the test suite, contributing to more stable and efficient continuous integration processes without introducing bug fixes during the period.
