Worked on the vespa-engine/vespa repository to restore stability and reliability in build and deployment workflows. Addressed two critical bugs by reverting changes that had disrupted the factory API endpoint and authentication, returning to the original configuration to safeguard client integrations and maintain security controls. Additionally, reinstated RPM publishing in build artifacts by restoring separate packaging of config-model-fat RPMs, ensuring artifact integrity through preserved signatures and certificates. Leveraged skills in CI/CD, build automation, and scripting, primarily using Shell, to minimize production risk and maintain compatibility for downstream clients while supporting clean, auditable rollback paths for future migrations and deployments.
