Aressem focused on restoring and stabilizing critical build and deployment workflows in the vespa-engine/vespa repository over a two-month period. By reverting changes to the factory API endpoint and authentication, Aressem ensured uninterrupted client integrations and maintained established security controls, using Shell scripting and DevOps practices to minimize production risk. In addition, Aressem reinstated RPM publishing in build artifacts, re-enabling packaging of config-model-fat RPMs within tar archives and preserving artifact signatures and certificates. This work aligned artifact publishing with CI/CD validation and downstream deployment workflows, demonstrating a methodical approach to rollback and artifact integrity in complex automation environments.
