Ariel worked on the AsyncTI4/TI4_map_generator_bot repository, focusing on backend and game development using Java and TypeScript. Over two months, Ariel delivered three features, including server-specific bot improvements and enhanced combat user experience through role recognition and clearer relic messaging. Ariel also extended the Tile class and improved the ResonanceGeneratorService to provide richer system descriptions and more informative diagnostics, supporting faster troubleshooting and onboarding. The technical approach emphasized commit-driven development, maintainable API changes, and improved messaging design. While no bugs were fixed, Ariel’s work demonstrated depth in backend architecture and laid a foundation for future observability enhancements.
