Arit focused on stabilizing and refactoring the test infrastructure for the UKHO/s-100-permit-service repository, addressing reliability issues in the PermitServiceApiConfiguration component. By reworking internal test configurations to leverage C# features like IEnumerable<T>, Arit improved both flexibility and immutability in the test suite. The work involved backend development and unit testing, specifically targeting build failures and flaky CI runs. Through these changes, Arit enabled more deterministic and reliable automated testing, which supports safer and faster deployments. Although no new features were delivered, the depth of the refactoring established a robust foundation for future development and ongoing API testing.
