Contributed to the librenms/librenms repository by delivering Tripplite PowerAlert Monitoring Enhancements, focusing on improved device monitoring and data accuracy. Developed new features to retrieve outlet state and frequency from Tripplite PowerAlert devices, updated device definitions, and introduced an SNMP simulation file to support robust regression testing. Leveraged expertise in SNMP protocol, configuration management, and YAML to enable more granular monitoring of power distribution units. The work enhanced visibility into power infrastructure, supporting faster remediation and better capacity planning. Emphasis was placed on feature delivery and testing, with no major bug fixes during the period, reflecting a depth in proactive monitoring solutions.
