Worked on enhancing installation documentation for the hiddenSymmetries/simsopt repository, focusing on improving onboarding processes for new users. Updated and centralized installation instructions by linking MacOS and other system-specific setup steps to dedicated GitHub Wiki pages, making resources more accessible and easier to maintain. Utilized reStructuredText (RST) for documentation and leveraged GitHub’s Wiki platform to align guidance with the latest setup procedures. These improvements aimed to reduce onboarding friction and minimize support requests by providing clearer, centralized resources. The work demonstrated attention to maintainability and user experience, with a focus on documentation quality and effective resource organization for future updates.
