During October 2025, Armando focused on improving the contract verification workflow in the NomicFoundation/hardhat repository by addressing a persistent issue with Etherscan API URL configuration. He implemented a targeted bug fix that ensured the verification process correctly referenced the apiUrl from etherscanConfig, directly resolving issue #7509 and reducing verification failures in deployment pipelines. This work involved JavaScript and TypeScript within a Node.js environment, emphasizing config-driven development and integration with external APIs. Armando also updated related documentation to reflect these changes. The contribution demonstrated a focused, in-depth approach to stabilizing a critical part of the project’s CI reliability.
