Worked on backend and build system improvements across facebookincubator/cinderx and facebook/folly, focusing on stability and maintainability. Developed a prototype for a context decorator wrapper in cinderx using Python and async programming, enabling more modular and reusable decorator utilities for future features. Addressed import reliability by implementing a fallback for cached_classproperty, reducing the risk of silent failures. In folly, restored previous C++ build configurations and portability targets by reverting recent migrations to new abstractions, using CMake and library management skills to reestablish compatibility and reduce integration issues. Changes were peer-reviewed to ensure alignment with project standards and cross-team reliability.
