During March 2025, contributed to the felleslosninger/github-workflows repository by delivering a feature that enhanced Jira ID extraction within the CI workflow. This work focused on improving traceability between commits and Jira issues, particularly by broadening the regular expression logic to reliably capture Jira IDs from all commit types, including merge commits. The update strengthened the linkage between code changes and issue tracking, streamlining auditability and reducing the need for manual mapping in the CI pipeline. The solution was implemented using Shell scripting, leveraging CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions to ensure maintainability and future-proofing of the workflow integration.
