Developed multi-provider proxy support for the Alishahryar1/free-claude-code repository, enabling independent HTTP and SOCKS5 proxy configurations for each provider through environment variables. The work involved updating backend settings, provider classes, and comprehensive test suites to ensure correct proxy routing and isolation across providers. Leveraging Python and HTTPX, the implementation focused on robust HTTP client management and enhanced deployment flexibility in diverse network environments. By expanding test coverage for proxy-related scenarios, the changes reduced integration friction and improved reliability for multi-provider deployments. The feature addressed the need for customizable network configurations without introducing new bugs during the development period.
