Worked on the home-assistant/addons repository to deliver a DNS Split-DNS Resolution feature, enabling users with local DNS servers to resolve domains more reliably in split DNS environments. The implementation involved integrating dns_multi_nameservers into the certbot-dns-multi plugin and upgrading its dependency to version 4.33.0 for improved compatibility. Addressed code review feedback by refining the configuration read flow, which enhanced maintainability and reliability. Utilized skills in Configuration Management, DNS Management, and DevOps, working primarily with Shell and YAML. The work focused on customer-facing improvements, reducing DNS resolution issues for edge environments without introducing new bugs during the development period.
