Month: 2026-05 — Delivered idempotent Fediverse Stats emails for the Automattic/wordpress-activitypub plugin, eliminating duplicate emails for the same period despite multiple scheduler invocations. Implemented per-period email-sent tracking, added management methods for email-sent state, and expanded tests to validate end-to-end idempotency. This work improves reliability of email delivery, reduces user confusion, lowers support overhead, and enhances trust in analytics data.

April 2025: Focused on stability and code quality in Automattic/newspack-blocks. Delivered a targeted bug fix to improve robustness of taxonomy term class generation. No new features shipped this month. The fix reduces warnings and prevents null or empty-slug terms from being included in classes, improving rendering reliability across blocks and editor previews. This work enhances platform stability, reduces support overhead, and demonstrates strong defensive programming and code hygiene.
