Worked on stabilizing deployment processes for the Lightspeed App Server within the openshift/release repository, focusing on resolving deployment timeout issues during CI/CD cycles. Addressed a recurring bug by increasing the deployment wait timeout from 600 to 900 seconds, accommodating unstable image pulling times and reducing failures caused by premature timeouts. This change improved the reliability of automated releases, minimizing the need for retries and rollbacks under fluctuating network conditions. Utilized Shell scripting and DevOps practices to implement and validate the fix, demonstrating skills in deployment orchestration, CI/CD pipeline tuning, and change management to enhance overall release stability and reliability.
