Worked on the DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped repository to enhance Chrome extension type definitions by introducing domain-based filtering capabilities. Extended the RuleCondition interface with topDomains and excludedTopDomains properties, enabling more precise network request filtering based on specified domains. Focused on improving maintainability by removing redundant JSDoc comments, which reduced code noise and clarified documentation for future contributors. Utilized TypeScript and type definition skills to ensure robust and accurate typings, supporting both feature development and code quality improvements. The work addressed both functional enhancements and technical debt, resulting in a more maintainable codebase and a better experience for developers working with Chrome extension types.
