Worked on the sapcc/helm-charts repository to deliver a focused feature enhancing the Prysm component within the cc-ceph Helm chart. Developed a dedicated Rook admin user to provide secure access for the RGW metrics exporter, addressing both security and observability requirements. Leveraged Kubernetes, Helm, and Ceph to integrate an init container that ensures the necessary secret is available before the exporter starts, supporting reliable metrics collection. Updated the chart version and Helm values to align with the new user configuration, streamlining deployment and upgrade processes. The work emphasized robust feature delivery and improved metrics reliability, with no major bugs addressed during this period.
