Contributed an enhancement to the DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped repository by improving Steam User type definitions using TypeScript. Focused on replacing the generic any type in AppInfo.appinfo with explicit interfaces, this work introduced detailed structures for app information, which increased type safety and improved autocompletion and error checking for downstream TypeScript projects. The update reduced the risk of runtime type errors and made the codebase more maintainable for contributors and users alike. Leveraging skills in software development and type definitions, the developer’s targeted approach strengthened reliability and usability for projects that depend on accurate Steam typings within the DefinitelyTyped ecosystem.
