Worked on the castai/helm-charts repository to deliver the Cast AI Spot Handler release cycle, focusing on enhancing observability and release hygiene. Implemented a feature that enables the log exporter by default and allows log levels to be configured as strings, improving monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities. Updated Helm chart versions and packaging metadata to streamline upgrades and align with release processes. The work centered on DevOps practices using Helm, Kubernetes, and YAML, ensuring that logging behavior is consistent and easier to manage. These changes aimed to reduce upgrade friction and support better operational visibility for users deploying the Spot Handler component.
