Worked on the bluesky-social/social-app repository to upgrade the paste input component, focusing on improving cross-platform paste compatibility and user experience. Migrated the existing react-native-paste-input to an Expo-based expo-paste-input solution, aligning the app with the Expo ecosystem for better maintainability and future development flexibility. The implementation was delivered as a feature-focused update, with no major bugs reported during the period. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript within a React Native and Expo environment, emphasizing front end and mobile development best practices. The work enhanced content pasting functionality, supporting the app’s roadmap and ensuring smoother integration with evolving platform requirements.
