Worked on the hashicorp/nomad repository to deliver region-aware UI behavior, focusing on accurate data consistency during region switches. Leveraged Ember.js and JavaScript to implement end-to-end updates across the UI, data store, and test suites, ensuring that users see up-to-date allocations and evaluations when changing regions. Enhanced token request handling by parameterizing requests with region data, and improved the workflow by canceling watchers and refreshing relevant stores to prevent stale views. Strengthened test coverage using Mirage fixtures and acceptance tests, while optimizing performance by limiting unnecessary data reloads, resulting in a more reliable and user-friendly region-switching experience.
