Arven developed the Sustainability API v2 for the microsoft/BCTech repository, focusing on exposing data from the Sustainability Account table and providing an API page for detailed account information. Using AL and leveraging skills in API development and Business Central development, Arven aligned the API publisher and group metadata with current naming conventions to improve consistency and reduce friction during publishing. The work enhanced data accessibility and discoverability for developers, making the API catalog easier to navigate and consume. While the project scope was limited to a single feature over one month, the implementation laid a solid foundation for future enhancements.
