Worked on the GTBitsOfGood/juno repository, focusing on refactoring the data mapping logic within the convertDbBucket function to simplify its structure and improve code readability. This backend development effort, implemented in TypeScript, aimed to reduce technical debt and enhance the maintainability of the data ingestion workflow. By modularizing the mapping logic, the changes stabilized data conversion processes and paved the way for easier future enhancements. Additionally, a core bug in the convert-db workflow was addressed, further improving system reliability. The work emphasized clean, testable code and contributed to a more robust foundation for ongoing development in the project.
