Worked on the getsentry/sentry-go repository to deliver a security-focused feature that expanded the redaction of sensitive HTTP headers in application logs. Enhanced the sensitiveHeaders map within the Go SDK to include CSRF tokens, API keys, and session identifiers, directly addressing privacy and compliance requirements. This backend development effort reduced the risk of sensitive data exposure by ensuring that critical user information is not inadvertently logged. Applied Go programming skills and security best practices to strengthen the SDK’s logging and auditability. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to privacy protection, focusing on code quality and maintainability within the context of secure backend systems.
