Asharan developed a reusable namespace file URI generation utility for the kestra-io/kestra repository, introducing the fileURI Pebble function to standardize resource referencing across workflows. The implementation, written in Java and Groovy, focused on creating consistent and portable URIs from given paths, addressing the need for reliable namespace resource access. Asharan ensured robustness by adding automated unit tests to validate URI construction, supporting maintainability and preventing regressions. The work emphasized test coverage and code consistency, positioning the feature for broader adoption within Kestra’s namespace resolution stack. This contribution deepened the project’s use of Java development, Pebble templating, and unit testing.
