During January 2025, contributed to the http4k/http4k repository by implementing OpenAPI v3 Client Credentials OAuth security support, focusing on enhancing the contract renderer to accurately represent client credentials flows. This work involved developing a dedicated renderer and expanding contract tests to ensure the OpenAPI specification reliably models OAuth 2.0 security schemes. Using Kotlin and leveraging expertise in API development and contract testing, the developer strengthened the contract rendering architecture, which improved maintainability and integration for OAuth2-secured clients. No bugs were fixed during this period, but the feature delivered increased reliability and test coverage for OpenAPI v3 security within the project.
