Ashesh Vidyut contributed to policy governance and documentation accuracy across HashiCorp’s Terraform repositories. In hashicorp/terraform-docs-common, Ashesh improved policy enforcement documentation by aligning it with the correct Terraform Enterprise version and fixing policy library links, reducing misconfiguration risks and supporting compliant onboarding. In hashicorp/policy-library-fsbp-policy-set-for-aws-terraform, Ashesh expanded Sentinel-based AWS security policies, adding coverage for Lambda, WAF, Step Functions, and other services to enforce best practices. Using HCL, Sentinel, and Terraform, Ashesh also resolved module configuration issues and streamlined repository structure. The work demonstrated careful attention to codebase alignment, maintainability, and the evolving needs of cloud security.
