Worked on the microsoft/AL-Go repository to enhance error diagnostics related to versioning configuration. Addressed a bug where the system previously failed to specify the unknown versioning strategy, updating the error handling logic so that the exact unrecognized strategy value is now logged. This targeted fix, implemented using PowerShell scripting and DevOps practices, enables faster identification and resolution of misconfiguration issues by providing clearer diagnostic information. The approach included updating error formatting and adding validation checks to maintain code stability. The work focused on improving troubleshooting efficiency and maintaining high code quality, with an emphasis on robust scripting and error handling.
